Bring the dog

Welcome at the ceremony, in the photographs and on most of the estate. At Glen Clova the dog is part of the wedding party, not an afterthought.

Start planning your day

Because the day wouldn't be complete without them.

One wedding at a time. Yours.

Barn, meadow or kirk, twenty guests or a hundred and fifty, however you shape the day, it is built on the same promises.

01

The only wedding on the estate

We host one wedding at a time. While you're here, the glen, the barn and the team are about nobody else.

02

Three days, not a time-slot

Arrive the day before, marry in the middle, leave slowly the day after, and with beds for 88 on the estate, everyone stays with you.

03

Everything's included

Coordinator, set-up, styling, reception drinks, the evening buffet, included from the start, not added at the end.

A real welcome, not a tolerance

From the aisle to the armchair. Here's how the dog's day works.

Part of the wedding party

Walk down the aisle together, have them sit with you while you say it, and keep them in every photograph after. Dogs are welcome at the ceremony and in the photos. On the day, they're family like everyone else.

Where the dog sleeps

All eight steading rooms welcome up to two dogs, eight of our nine lodges do too, all but the Old Mill, and so do both houses. After the last dance, the whole family is a short walk from bed.

Dog-friendly wedding questions

Can our dog come to the wedding ceremony?

Yes, dogs are welcome at the ceremony. At Glen Clova the dog is part of the wedding party, not an afterthought.

Where does the dog stay overnight?

Across most of the estate. All eight steading rooms welcome dogs, up to two per room, eight of our nine lodges do too (all but the Old Mill), and so do both houses.

Can the dog be in our wedding photos?

Absolutely, dogs are welcome in the photographs, and the glen does the rest: open meadow, the kirk, and walking trails straight into the Cairngorms National Park.

Are there any rules we should know about?

Just one that matters: this is a working farm, so dogs stay on leads on the farmland. Beyond that the welcome is genuine, with up to two dogs per room or lodge.

Is the bar dog-friendly too?

Yes, the Climbers' Bar and the Brandy Bothy are both dog-friendly, with fresh water down. The dog joins the celebrations rather than waiting outside.
