The barn seats up to 150 with views over the glen, and Clova Kirk holds 120 for the ceremony. As the light goes, the barn turns over to the evening reception, dancing, ceilidh and all.
The morning after
Up to 88 of your guests sleep on the estate, lodges, hotel rooms, steading rooms and two houses, so the night ends with a short walk to bed, and the morning starts with everyone at breakfast together.

Large wedding questions
How many guests can Glen Clova host?
Up to 150 seated in the barn, with views over the glen. Clova Kirk seats 120 for the ceremony, and there are four meal formats to feed a big party through the day.
Where does everyone sleep?
Up to 88 stay on the estate across nine lodges, ten hotel rooms, eight steading rooms and two houses. Bigger parties simply spill into good options nearby, Kirriemuir is about 13 miles down the glen, while the heart of the party stays on site.
Can we have a ceilidh?
Yes. An evening party with dancing is one of our four meal formats, and a ceilidh in the barn is the classic Glen Clova finish.
Is there a minimum number of guests at weekends?
Weekend weddings run Friday to Sunday, with a minimum of 70 daytime guests from April to October and 50 from November to March. Put simply: our weekends are made for big weddings.
Is the evening buffet included?
Yes. Every Glen Clova wedding includes a dedicated wedding coordinator, hire of the barn, full set-up, reception drinks, an evening buffet of your choice, a wedding tasting with wine, and stylish decoration, greenery, fairy lights and ivory flowers. Accommodation is the one separate piece.
