The only wedding on the estate
We host one wedding at a time. While you're here, the glen, the barn and the team are about nobody else.
Pipes on the walk to the kirk, a ceilidh in the barn, ten Munros standing watch. Scotland, undiluted.
Start planning your dayBarn, meadow or kirk, twenty guests or a hundred and fifty, however you shape the day, it is built on the same promises.
We host one wedding at a time. While you're here, the glen, the barn and the team are about nobody else.
Arrive the day before, marry in the middle, leave slowly the day after, and with beds for 88 on the estate, everyone stays with you.
Coordinator, set-up, styling, reception drinks, the evening buffet, included from the start, not added at the end.
Marry where you choose by Scots law, then dance the night down in the barn.
Scots law lets you marry wherever the two of you want to stand, a kirk, a hillside, a loch shore or a field. Clova Kirk, c.1860 and non-denominational, holds religious or humanist services, and a piper can walk you there.
Ceilidh dancing in the barn, our own Clova Ale at the bar, local spirits from Gin Bothy and Ogilvy, whisky tastings you can book, and Mini Highland Games the day after, if the party deserves a sequel.
The arrangements are handled and the essentials are included at no extra cost, no surprise add-ons, no wedding tax. The same is true whichever setting you choose.

Yes. Scots law lets you marry anywhere, so couples here choose the kirk, a hillside, a loch shore or a field on the glen.
Clova Kirk dates from around 1860 and is non-denominational, it welcomes religious and humanist services alike.
Both. Pipers walk wedding parties to the kirk, and the barn was made for ceilidh dancing in the evening.
In the Angus Glens, inside the Cairngorms National Park, with ten Munros standing around the glen. The hotel has been welcoming travellers since 1850.
Our bar pours our own Clova Ale alongside local spirits from Gin Bothy and Ogilvy, and you can book a whisky tasting for the wedding party. A Highland-cow photo experience and Mini Highland Games are bookable too.
Yes, and we host destination couples often. The legal side is the same as for anyone marrying in Scotland: you each complete a marriage notice (form M10) and send it to Angus Council's registrar with your birth certificate, passport and the fee. Send it no earlier than three months and no later than 29 clear days before the date, though around twelve weeks ahead is more comfortable. If you are not a British or Irish citizen you also include a Declaration of Status form, and depending on your nationality a certificate of no impediment. One of you collects the marriage schedule from the registrar in the week or so before the wedding, and it is returned within three days afterwards. Only couples who would otherwise need a visa to visit the UK require a Marriage Visitor visa, valid for six months; EU Settlement Scheme status holders and Irish citizens do not. Tell us where you're travelling from and we'll point you to the right registrar contacts.
Tell us when, and where on the glen you'd like to stand, and we'll take it from there.
Real people, warm replies, no obligation.
